Do Not Jump To Conclusions
“DO NOT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS”
Luke 6:39-42
(Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye? – Luke 6:41).
The scribes and Pharisees of Jesus’ day were quick to judge others while not recognizing faults far worse in their own lives. Jesus rebuked them for seeing a speck in another man’s eye while they had a plank blocking their own vision (Luke 6:41-42).
Let’s be careful not to form opinions about others until we have all the facts. Instead, we should first take an honest look at ourselves.
Many unkind words have been spoken and many relationships have been hurt because someone was too quick to judge another person. How important it is not to jump to conclusions!
“Let me be a little kindle, to the faults of others blinder;
Let me praise a little more.
Let me walk in full surrender, and like Jesus be more tender,
Blessing all who pass my door.”
*PEOPLE WHO JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS OFTEN LAND ON LIE.*
