Safety In The Storm
Please Read-Mark 4:35
We have a Saviour who can calm the winds and the waves of life, who can speak to the circumstances of life and say, peace be still. And Jesus will either deliver you from a storm or He will deliver you through the storm. Jesus will either make it calm around you or He will make it calm within you, but He is a mighty Saviour and He is in control of the storm through which you are going right now. No matter who you are, there is going to be a time in your life and for many it is right now,when you are going to go through the storm.
Now in the Bible many times, life is compared to a voyage. And so I want us to see in this passage the voyage of the ship. Paul said that we should be careful in our life not to make shipwreck out of our lives. When he was ready to go to heaven, Paul said, the time of my departure is at hand. And he was talking about how a ship would leave the harbour and make its way into another harbour. Again and again in the Word of God we see life compared to a voyage.
In Acts 27 where Paul is in a terrible storm and there is a shipwreck, it is a story of the voyage of life. And so as we look at the voyage of the ship in the life of the Lord Jesus you notice in verse 36 the Bible says, there were also with them other little ships. This teaches us something; it teaches us that all of us share the same things in life. It teaches us that all of us are going to go through the storms of life. But there is a great difference. The Bible says of one ship that Jesus was present on that ship, but it does not say that Jesus was present on these other little ships. And there is a great difference today in having Jesus present on your ship as you make the voyage of life and not having the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.

2)Lord deliver me from the storms raging against my destiny in Jesus name.
