*YOUR SECURITY IS GUARANTEED*

*2 Samuel 22:29-31*
_“For You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord shall enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop; by my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”_
If there is something each of us is concerned about, it is our safety. No one wants to go through this life feeling insecure. Insurance companies take our monies year after year because we are concerned about future security. You know how you feel guilty because they tried talking you into taking a life insurance policy and you did not yield. Sometimes they make you feel like you are being presumptuous, so you go in for it.
We all know that the insurance companies that promise us security themselves need security. There is only one Source where we can talk of true, guaranteed security – in God. We struggle with God’s security because God does not give us physical documents we keep in our safes. The insurance company gives you documents with a lot of text you normally do not always read completely.
God’s word represents His insurance documents to us. Rest assured in His promises.
The Psalmist and king is assuring us that God is a shield to all who trust Him. He saw two men fight their way through a troop to bring him water and so he knew that with God he could go through a troop. You have to trust God more than you trust the insurance company. God never fails; the truth is, He cannot.
*Prayer*
Thank God for the security we have in Him, the protection you have enjoyed since your childhood years.
Pray for faith to trust God absolutely like a child trusts his father without any reservations.
Father, please help me trust You in all situations that confront me in this life.
*Declarations*
I declare by divine authority that my safety is of the Lord. I declare that by the judicial power of God that no power can mess me up because greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world. I declare that the Lord is my shield and my Buckler; He is my High Tower; therefore, I shall not be moved! When the enemy rises against me, like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him in the name of Jesus.
